I was lucky enough to grow up in Aspen, Colorado, where I became somewhat addicted to skiing and the beauty of the place I called home. I started my college career at Santa Monica College in Los Angeles, but after a turbulent first year, I found myself missing Colorado and transferred to the University of Colorado Boulder, where I earned my degree in journalism.

During my three years at CU Boulder, I developed a real love for filmmaking, photography, and, most importantly, finding interesting stories and figuring out how to share them with people.

That passion ultimately brought me to Northwestern University, where I earned my master’s degree in documentary filmmaking. Through that experience, I continued developing my skills in documentary storytelling, interviewing, cinematography, editing, and journalism while producing longer-form films and reporting projects.

Today, I’m focused on continuing to grow as a documentary filmmaker and video producer, telling stories that feel human, visually compelling, and worth paying attention to — whether that’s through documentary work, journalism, or storytelling for businesses and organizations.
